True Indian

My Comment: A true Indian isn't the one who is born on this land, but the one who follows the path of an inward journey. That means even Jesus, Mohammad, and many other wise people from other lands are also Indians, as they reached the pinnacle of the inward journey.

Osho's View on it:

According to Osho, a "true Indian" is not defined by geographical, racial, or national boundaries, but rather by a spiritual state of being focused on internal consciousness and the search for truth. He defined this as "eternal India" or the India of the Buddhas, which is a spiritual space rather than a physical country.

Key characteristics of a "true Indian" as per Osho include:

A Seeker of Internal Truth: A true Indian is devoted to self-knowledge rather than objective, external research. It is someone dedicated to exploring the inner world.

Part of the "Eternal India": This is a person, anywhere in the world, who is engaged in meditation and the cultivation of consciousness.

A Rebel and Free Thinker: Osho described the true seeker as a rebel who has no rigid belief system, whether religious or atheistic. They do not follow traditional, orthodox belief systems but instead seek their own, lived experience.

A Participant in the "Buddhafield": A true Indian is in a state of "let-go" and relaxation, allowing them to experience the spiritual vibration of India's long tradition of enlightenment.

Osho often differentiated this "true" spiritual essence from the traditional, orthodox India, which he believed had become too old and lost its courage for change.
